Ancient Lomi Lomi is a form of transformational bodywork from the original inhabitants of Hawai’i. The training takes us on a journey of embodiment — opening forgotten channels of wisdom from the body to the mind and transforming the way we perceive ourselves, our bodies and our world.
In this Immersion, at Valverde Retreat, we will deepen in the movement practices of Ho’omanamana and Ka’alele ‘au, as well as the Principles of Ke Ala Hōkū — The Pathway to The Stars, that is the origin of this work. These practices expand flow, freedom and wellbeing in body, mind & spirit, opening new pathways of acceptance, harmony and joy.
Prerequisite: A minimum of one previous live Retreat with Lineage of Light
Facilitator: Jody Mountain
Jody Mountain is a dancer, choreographer and teacher with 25 years experience in various forms of movement dynamics and healing modalities. Since 1989, she has been studying, practicing and eventually teaching the art of Ancient Lomi Lomi and it’s foundations in Ancient Hawaiian Wisdom. Jody Kumu is Kahu Abraham Kawa’i, Aua’ia, Maka’i’ole, Uliama. She brings forward the teaching of this lineage. Jody also practices and facilitates Core & Cellular Healing — a modern form of Ancient Hawaiian Ho’oponopono. She is a licensed massage therapist and teacher in the state of Hawai’i, and has dedicated her life to sharing the depth and vibrancy of this profound work with others as a vehicle for awakened consciousness.
